Meet Our Founder

Dr. Sonya Watts-Davis is a woman from small beginnings. She was born in a small-town Fort Mill, South Carolina. She is the fourth daughter of the history-making Daniel Watts. Who taught her that putting God first and taking care of your family is true success. From her mother Eunice, she learned that true change often comes with hardship and sacrifice.

Dr. Watts-Davis received her first Substance Abuse Counselor and Mental Health State Certification in 1998, a bachelor’s in psychology in 2006, and a master’s in organizational psychology in 2008. She became a Director in 2010 and was awarded her own facility in 2014. Dr. Watts-Davis did not fall down when breast cancer came knocking at her door in 2015, but has taken that recovery story to fight alone side those battling breast cancer. She has a bestselling book and Workbook, “Pink But Not Pitiful”. In 2017, she went on to receive her Ph.D. in christian counseling.

If you would ask the many women whose lives she has touched over the years what they think of Dr. Watts-Davis they would say, “I love Sonya, she changed my life. Dr. Watts-Davis and her husband, reside in Chicago and have 3 children and 8 grandchildren.
